The Advanced Open Water course (not to be confused with the Advanced Adventurer course) is a course designed to take you to the next level of diving.
This course takes 3 days and will teach you 4 full speciality diver licences, Deep, Wreck, Perfect Buoyancy and Nitrox.
Deep – This will train and certify you to safely dive down to 40 metres while staying within the recreational limits of diving
Wreck – This will train you to navigate around wrecks, and teach you to safely penetrate the wreck within recreational limits
Perfect Buoyancy – This will perfect your buoyancy and trim, and will get you down to the optimum amount of lead on your belt. Usually this results in an decrease in air consumption.
Nitrox – Nitrox is a mixture of Nitrogen and Oxygen with an Oxygen content between 22% and 40%. This course teaches how to safely use Nitrox to increase your bottom time and let you stay down longer.
Price:
The price for this course is €550. This includes all dives, equipment, certification fees, boat fees and transport to and from the wreck of the Zenobia for 2 days.
Prerequisites:
You must be 15 years old or older. Have the Open Water Diver licence. You need have at lease 24 dives at the end of the course. If you do not have 24 dives you can still complete the course, and you will receive the 4 speciality certifications, then when you have 24 dives you can let us know, we will update the system and you will automatically be issued with the Advanced Open Water licence.
What to bring:
Bathing suit, Sun cream, diving licence and logbook.
