SSI

At Get Wet Divers we use SSI (Scuba Schools International) as a dive agency. We believe they offer good value courses and a high standard while allowing us to use our 35 years of teaching experience to custom make a course to suit your needs as a student.

All the SSI materials, books, book, certification card and logbook can be accessed either through the SSI app for Android and iPhone, or though the SSI website. So wherever you are in the world you will have access to your training materials and certifications cards. you don’t need to worry about forgetting your card at home next time you’re on holiday.

SSI meets and exceeds the ISO standards for recreational dive courses professional level courses. SSI is also a member of the WRSTC (World recreational scuba training council), a regulatory body that sets the standards for safe diving practices. Your SSI licence is valid all over the world.

Training

Get Wet Dives runs all level of recreational courses from absolute beginner to instructor level. With Ben as a technical dive instructor, we also offer technical decompression courses, sidemount courses, and technical wreck courses o the world famous Zenobia. We offer freediving classes and workshops with Shannon, who held the Australian unassisted free diving record. Even though he is no longer able to compete at that level anymore because “I like coffee too much”, Shannon is still able to dive down to 30 metres easily.
