The Advanced Adventurer course is designed to give divers of all experience levels an introduction to advanced diving. This course is unlike the Open Water Course as there is no classroom time. You receive a thorough briefing before each dive.
The course consists of 5 dives. Each dive is on a specific type of diving, for example, in the underwater photograph dive, we teach you about photography, composition and how to improve your shots. We conduct these dives over 2 days, with the option of 2 dives on the world famous Wreck of the Zenobia.
The main aim of this course is to give you the training and confidence to dive deeper and make you safer, for that reason we have made the Deep Dive and the Navigation Dive compulsory, The other 3 dives are up to you. You can choose from:
- Photography/Videography
- Perfect Buoyancy
- Night Diving
- Wreck Diving
- Dry Suit (Must have your own Dry Suit)
Price:
The Advanced Adventurer course costs €285. This includes 5 dives, equipment rental, and certification fee. The Zenobia has a €25 surcharge for 2 dives
Prerequisites:
Be 12 years old or older. You must have an Open Water Diver licence from any agency. There is no minimum number of dives to start, but you should be comfortable with what you learnt in the Open Water Course. If you are unsure, come for a dive or two first and we can help you out with any problems you have.
What to bring:
Bathing suit. Sun cream. Certification card and logbook.
Credit:
Each dive of this course counts towards the first dives of its specialty course. For example, the Deep Dive can be used as the first of three dives of the Deep Diver Specialty.
